SOUTHERN DOWNS RIFLE CLUB AT A GLANCE
We shoot F Class and Target Rifle on our range at 300 - 600 yards.
Should you like to visit we welcome you to come along to the Risdon Rifle range, Connolly Dam Road Warwick. We shoot most Sundays starting at 9am and members are usually on site until Noon.

Go directly to the club house and wait there until invited onto the range.

If you would like to try this sport, we have several club rifles which you can use. You will have to pay the range fee $10.00, plus the cost of the ammunition. You must arrange for the rifle to be available, so give Margaret Taylor a call on 07 4666 1018 and she will arrange for a rifle and someone to coach you on the range.

ELECTRONIC TARGETS
The Electronic Targets have finally arrived . Thanks to the Southern Downs Regional Council for the grant enabling us to purchase 2 x Silver Mountain G2 units.
TARGET SET UP AT THE BUTTS
4 sensors on each corner of the target are connected to the G2 unit (yellow unit, bottom left in the photo). The G2 unit is connected to an antenna which transmits a signal to a receiver on the shooting mound.
WHAT THE SHOOTER SEES.
The target is shown on a browser, which can be displayed on any wireless device, like a smart phone, tablet or computer.
