16th April 2023, 500 Yards

A very good attendance last Sunday , the pleasant weather also contributed to some excellent scores from the shooters. In the standard class John Cooke continues to show good form with another victory, just beating Greg Wilson by three x points on equal scores. The open class was once again very closely contested with several shooters in the running for top spot but Richard McKillop eventually coming out the winner. The Sporter / Hunter class was popular this week with Steve Lee and Hayden Aspinall both scoring maximum points Steve winning by six "V" bulls, just three short of a perfect score (105.21).

It was great to see young shooters Jack Hildred and Sierra Reck competing along with their fathers Grant and Clint, we hope they continue to enjoy the sport as they progress.

Next Sunday 23rd April we will be at the 600 yard mound, sign on at 8.30 am for 9.00 am start. Contact Margaret on 4666 1018 for more information regarding this event.
