1st March 2026, 300 Yards

It was the first day of Autumn, and we could certainly feel the season beginning to change — from the heat of summer to a refreshing, cool morning breeze. Today’s friendly match was held at the 300-yard mounds, with 19 shooters competing across their respective disciplines, all tackling the breezy conditions.

We had four categories of competition, and three of them produced perfect scores — an outstanding achievement.

Congratulations to the following shooters who recorded perfect scores:

  • Bruce McAllan – 126.8 (F-Open)

  • Richie McKillop – 105.16 (Sporter Production)

  • Femy Cook and John Cook – 105.15 (Sporter Open)  It was a great result for husband-and-wife duo Femy and John, both delivering identical scores in Sporter Open. However, Femy secured the win on countback.

  • A fantastic way to welcome the new season, with excellent shooting all around — well done to everyone for a great effort!
