21st April 2024, 600 Yards

A wet, soggy start to proceedings last Sunday for the dedicated who turned up for the competition. The threat of heavier rain caused the shoot to be at the 600 yard mound, this being closer to club house in case a hasty retreat was required. The open class was closely contested as usual with Kevin Birse winning by more x points. In sporter/ hunter Geoff Volmerhause took the honours with John Bacon runner up. Next Sunday 28th April we will be at 600 yards again, contact Margaret if more information is required on 4666 1018.
