10th August 2022, 400 Yards

The southern downs shooters arrived to a freezing cold morning last Sunday but as the competition got underway the action warmed up. In the open class Richard once again showed he was the man to beat by recording another excellent score, with Bruce not far behind in second place.


In the standard class Merryn contjnued her good form with a win, Geoff took second place. The sporter/ hunter class was won by Gary, the Snelling family had a successful morning with both Merryn and Gary winning their classes.


Next Sunday 17th July there will not be a club shoot as the Risdon range will be used by the DDDRA for a weekend competition. The next club shoot for the southern downs club will commence on Sunday 24th July at the 500 yard mound , sign on at 8.30 am for 9.00 am start. Contact Margaret on 4666 1018for more information.
