20th August 2023, 500 Yards

Another great morning for shooting last Sunday with light winds and a little mirage to contend with for the competitors. In the standard class Greg Wilson had a good result with a win ahead of Hayden Aspinall in second place. The open class was again a close affair with Kevin Birse eventually coming out on top with Margaret Taylor and Bruce McAllan not far behind in second and third place respectively. In sporter/ hunter Geoff Volmerause attained a maximum score to beat Bethany Walpole in runner up spot.

Next Sunday 27th August we will be at the 600 yard
