7th May 2023, 300 Yards

A fine cool morning last Sunday for our competition produced some outstanding results from the shooters.

In the Open class the two shooters in red hot form, Richard McKillop and Kevin Burse both recorded maximum scores, Richard winning by just three " x " points. The Standard class was also very tightly contested with Dave Taylor and Kevin Jones on equal scores, Dave getting first place by three " x " points. In the Sporter/Hunter class Geoff Volmerhause just missing out of maximum by one point, with Paul Reid runner up.

Next Sunday May14 (Mothers Day) we will be at the 400 yard mound, sign on at 8.30am for 9.00am start.

Please note that on the weekend 20/21 May there will not be a club shoot as the Risdon range will be used by the Darling Downs District Rifle Association for their prize shoot competition. We will be back for our usual competition on Sunday May 28 at 600 yards.
