11th October 2026, 400 Yards

We started in good conditions, with several shooters managing possibles on their first string. It didn’t last long—once the sun climbed higher, the conditions shifted quickly. A light wind flicked on and off, and the mirage swung unpredictably from right to left and left to right, testing everyone’s ability to read the range and commit to their chosen hold.

In the end, we had one shooter record a possible in Production/Sporter Open. Congratulations to John C, who scored an impressive 105.18.

In Sporter Production Class, eight shooters competed strongly against one another. Kaylen, one of our younger members, outshot the field with a final score of 104.8. A fantastic effort congratulations Kaylen!

After the match, the Annual General Meeting was held at the clubhouse. The committee was largely re‑elected, with Neil Sexton continuing as President, Greg Wilson as Vice President, and Femy Cook as Secretary. With the Treasurer’s position left vacant after Kevin Jones stepped down, and no nominations received, Femy will also take on the Treasurer role.

We extend our thanks and appreciation to Kevin for his dedication and service as Treasurer over the past years.

Next week will be a 500‑yard shoot. Please arrive at the range by 7:30am for sign‑on so shooting can commence at 8am. If you need any information, please phone Richard on 0490335871.
