19th July 2026, 500 Yards

Today the wind was horrendous.  We had a casualty with the shotmaker today on range six.  The wind blow the sensors to pieces and the targets out of their frames at times.  We all had a go in the conditions which made for some good stories.  We had two new shooters today, and they had good fun.  We hope to see you back girls when the wind isn't so strong.

We shot on the 500 yard mound today with 18 shooters.  Richard won with 122.11 in F Open, Femy won with 104.11 in Production Open and Glen won with 103.12 in Production Class.  Well done our winners for today.

Next week we'll be shooting on the 600yard mound.  Please be at the range by 8.30 am for sign on, so we can start by 9am.  If you have any questions about our sport please feel free to phone Richard on 0490 335 871.  I am sure Richard will be able to help you.

We have had an upgrade to our logo for Southern Downs Rifle Club.  We now have this embroidered onto some shirts, which came today.  The logo and shirts look great.
